With more than £850,000 raised so far for youth charities, you explain what moved you to donate

This year’s Guardian and Observer charity appeal aims to support young people whose lives have been devastated by Covid-19. The appeal has so far raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for three British youth charities, UK Youth, Young Minds and Child Poverty Action Group. More than 7,000 readers have already donated.
